Recently we went to Melbourne, Florida and stayed in the Radisson.  A good friend of mine was having her wedding there.  I have great things to say about the Radisson.  To start the staff was friendly and helpful, the entrance and reception area were bright and clean.  Every room has not only an ocean view but a surprisingly spacious balcony too!  When we first walked into our room I thought “did we just get a pull out couch? where is the bed?!”  Turns out each room is also a suite.  We had a mini fridge that wasn’t so mini, microwave, and coffee maker.  There was a couch, arm chair, desk, coffee table, and flat screen in the main room.  A king size sleep number bed in the bedroom with an armoire and another TV.  My only complaints (and they are small) was that the bathroom was a tad on the cramped side and there were only two incredibly slow elevators for all 15 floors (12 rooms per floor).  Both can be easily overlooked.

The location was close to an assortment of restaurants, right on the beach of course! and across the street from a strip mall that included a Winn Dixie and Wal-Mart just in case you forgot to pack anything.

For the main event, the hotel set up chairs on their expansive wood deck overlooking the beach and ocean.  A built in gazebo was decorated with flowy, sheer white fabric, a sheer patterned aisle runner adorned the deck, and a couple tropical plants.  Simple elegance;  it was perfect.  We then enjoyed some finger food and took pictures on the beach before heading off for the reception.

All in all, it was a great location for a wonderful event.  Congratulations to Tasha and Ken!
